Dilan Pagrabs spent years working general construction under people who taught him how to build properly. In 2014 he started Diversified Home Improvements to do it his own way.
More than 12 years later, the company has grown into full remodels, excavation, soft washing and commercial renovation — but the thing that has not changed is who is accountable. Dilan walks the estimate, knows the schedule, and is reachable when you have a question.
We are deliberately not the largest contractor in Medina County. We take on the number of projects we can actually staff well, which is why we would rather tell you we are booked out than take your deposit and disappear for six weeks.
Most of our work comes from people who hired us before, or from their neighbors who watched the job happen. That is the only marketing that has ever really worked in this business, and it only works if the work is good.

The last five percent is where most contractors vanish. We walk it with you and close it out.
We self-perform the critical work
Carpentry, drywall, tile, trim and site work are our crews — not whoever was available that week.

Something comes up a year later, you call the same number and get the same people.

From first call to final walkthrough

Conversation
We walk the property, listen to what you are trying to accomplish and tell you what is realistic — including when the answer is that a project is not worth the money.

Written Estimate
You get a detailed scope in writing with real numbers, not a range on the back of a card. Allowances are spelled out so you know what is and is not included.
- 03
Schedule & Permits
We pull permits, order long-lead materials up front and give you a start date we intend to keep. Demolition does not begin before materials are secured.
- 04
Build
One point of contact the whole way through. Dust containment goes up, the site gets cleaned daily, and you know who is at your house and what they are doing.
- 05
Walkthrough
We walk the finished work with you and build the punch list together. The job is done when you say it is, not when the last invoice goes out.
