Diversified Home Improvements, LLC respects your privacy. This page explains, in plain language, what we collect through this website, why, and what we do with it.

What we collect

The only information we collect from you directly is what you send us: your name, phone number, and optionally your email address, project location, the service you are interested in, your timeline, any project details you choose to share, and — if you use the video walkthrough — the short clips you film.

We do not ask for and do not want payment details, Social Security numbers or any other sensitive personal information through this website. Please do not send them to us this way.

Photos and video you send us

If you use the video walkthrough, or send us photos, those files are stored securely and are visible only to us. We use them for one purpose: to understand your project and to price it.

We do not publish anything you send us without asking you first. If we would like to use a photo of finished work on this website or on social media, we will ask, and you can say no without it affecting anything.

Please film the work rather than the people. If a family member appears in a clip by accident, tell us and we will delete it.

We keep these files while your project is active and for a reasonable period afterwards as part of our job records. You can ask us to delete them at any time and we will.

Live captions while you record

While you record a walkthrough, your phone may show live text of what you are saying. This is a convenience so you can see it is hearing you — the transcript we actually work from is produced afterwards from the saved recording.

We ask your browser to do that live transcription on your device. If your phone cannot, the browser falls back to its own speech service, which means the audio for those captions passes through your browser maker rather than staying local. We tell you on screen when that happens. This is a feature of the browser, not something we control, and it does not change where your recording itself goes.

Why we collect it

We use it for exactly one purpose: to respond to your request and, if you hire us, to carry out the work. We contact you by phone, text or email about your project. We do not add you to a marketing list or send you newsletters.

Who we share it with

We do not sell, rent or trade your information to anyone. We share it only with the service providers that make this website work — our web host, which stores form submissions, and our phone and email providers, which deliver our notifications. Those providers process the information on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.

We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or where it is necessary to establish or defend a legal claim.

Cookies and analytics

This website does not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels or cross-site trackers, and nothing here follows you around the internet.

We may use a privacy-focused, cookieless analytics tool to understand which pages people find useful. It records aggregate figures such as page views and referring sites. It does not set cookies, does not fingerprint your device and does not build a profile of you.

Your browser may store small amounts of data locally to make the site work properly. That data stays on your device and is not transmitted to us.

How long we keep it

We keep estimate requests for as long as we may reasonably need them for the project and our business records. If you asked for an estimate and did not hire us, you can ask us to delete your information at any time.

Your choices

You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Call (216) 672-6001 or email dilan@diversifiedoh.com and we will take care of it. You can also tell us to stop contacting you at any time and we will.

Security

This site is served over an encrypted connection, and form submissions are transmitted securely. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security — but we do not collect the kind of information that would make this site a target.

Children

This website is meant for adults arranging construction work. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes

If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and change the date at the top.
